New Jersey Community College Awards & Dinner

During our first ever New Jersey Community College Opportunity Summit, NJCCC is proud to host an Awards & Dinner Ceremony at Bally’s Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City on June 11, 2024. We’re excited to recognize excellence and achievement in the state’s 18 Community Colleges and honors individuals and organizations whose vision and leadership have been integral to the efforts of the Community Colleges to build an equitable and prosperous New Jersey.

Award Categories:

We seek to honor those who have played significant roles in supporting and shaping the critical role of our 18 Community Colleges.

Visionary Leadership Award

Presented to a New Jersey state leader in recognition of their contributions to New Jersey’s Community Colleges.

Partnership Award

Presented to a New Jersey business, government agency, or other entity in recognition of its significant contributions to New Jersey’s Community Colleges.

New Jersey Students of the Year

Presented to two students in recognition of their academic excellence, character, inspirational success, and/or service to their communities.

Distinguished Alumnus/Alumna Award

Presented to a New Jersey Community College graduate who has made significant contributions that have brought honor to New Jersey’s Community Colleges.

Distinguished Faculty Award

Presented to a New Jersey Community College faculty member who has had a profound influence on students academically and professionally inside and outside the classroom.

Ronald D. Winthers Trustee Leadership Award

Presented to a trustee who has made outstanding contributions to a New Jersey Community College.

Dr. Lawrence A. Nespoli Leadership Award

Presented to a senior Community College leader in recognition of their leadership efforts that have significantly contributed to New Jersey’s 18 Community Colleges.

Spirit Award

Presented to a New Jersey Community College employee to recognize significant contributions to a New Jersey Community College.
