NJ Pathways Happenings: Optics Technology Professional Development Workshop

Sussex County Community College and AmeriCOM successfully hosted a joint workshop for professional development within the Optics Technology Pathways Project. During the workshop, retired physics high school teacher, Donna Smith, taught fellow science teachers about all things Optics Technology at Sussex County Community College in Newton, NJ. Science teachers from New Jersey and New York were present, who were earning professional development hours while learning about the optics industry through hands-on optics labs, and about career opportunities in this field for their students.
